Three groups will play their preliminary matches in Tanzania. These matches will be hosted in three different venues. The newly built The Benjamin Mukapa International Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Samia Suluhu Hassan Stadium in Arusha and The Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar.
International flights into Tanzania will either land you at The Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) in Dar es Salaam or The Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in Zanzibar. From here you can Rent-a-car, Hire a Taxi, use Uber, Bolt, Shuttle on bus or use public transport to your next destination.

Regionally, Ethiopian Airline, RwandAir, Kenya Airways and South African Airline are major International Carriers that operate direct flights into Dar es Salaam. Precision Air and As Salaam Air offer reliable daily service locally within the region.

Arusha is 630 km appx. 11hrs drive away from the capital city Dar es Salaam. To get to Arusha you can fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (ARS) from Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar using Air Tanzania, Precision Air or As Salaam Air , drive or use BusBora public transportation. Alternatively you can drive, shuttle (Riverside shuttle, Impala shuttle, Nairobi-Arusha shuttle), from Kenya's capital city Nairobi 273km appx 4hrs drive.
Arusha is known as a tourist hub in Tanzania. The region is blessed with some of the most iconic tourism destinations in East Africa. There are a wide range of tourism sites, fun parks and entertainment spots that every visiting AFCON fan will enjoy. The Arusha National Park, The Arusha Cultural Heritage Centre, The Kikuletwa Hot Springs (Chemka) are the stand out wildlife/nature tour destinations to visit while in the city. If you are out for adventure, Mt. Kilimajaro, the highest mountain in Africa is only but 50kms away in Moshi town appx. 1hr drive and the Ngorongoro Crater is 155km away appx. 3hrs drive. These are once in a lifetime tour destinations to add to your itinerary while visiting the city.

Zanzibar is 70 km off the Indian ocean appx. 30min on flight or 1hr sail away from the capital city Dar es Salaam. You can fly in by Air from Dar es Salaam or Arusha using Air Tanzania, Precision Air or Auric Air , or sail on public ferry transportation. Azam Marine and Kilimanjaro Fast Ferries operate multiple daily trips to and from the island.
